At some point this project will ultimately result in production and support contracts, most likely awarded to an industry team or licensee of our technology. Until that time, we recognize that some elements within our customer organizations and our future production partners view our work as competitive to the status quo, while other elements of those very same organizations are enthusiastically working towards our mutual success.
Baldwin Technology Company, LLC is a licensee of Mono Tiltrotor intellectual property, and markets this technology primarily to United States military agencies. Marketing activities consist of presenting research and development proposals, reporting on our technical accomplishments, and illustrating through operational vignettes how products based on this technology could be employed. This cycle of technology push and operational pull is self reinforcing and helps guide our work towards delivering real breakthrough solutions to operational needs.
The work of each research and development contract is led by us and performed in collaboration with a hand picked subcontractor team of world-class experts. These ad hoc subcontractor teams persist only for the life of the contract under which they are formed. This approach delivers a high level of value to the customer with minimal fixed overhead expense.
